Heart Work

Persistence–the ability to stay focused on goals despite obstacles and adversity–makes us who we are. And the good news is: Just as daily push-ups give us stronger biceps, with the right mindset we can gradually strengthen our persistence “muscle.

Smile at a stranger, bring a treat to a co-worker or let someone else go in front of you in a line. As it turns out, these random acts of kindness could make you a happier person.
